“Dolphin” - a new standing seat allowing you to sit comfortably while standing

Standing seats still do not enjoy the wide acceptance in everyday work situations which they ought to given their medical benefits. It is not clear whether this is because the seat is too uncomfortable, the pedestal gets in the way, the height-adjustment function is too awkward to operate or whether the standing seat as a whole entity is just difficult to move. These were good enough reasons for Dauphin to tackle the issue and work together with surgeons and dentists - the group of professionals who frequently suffer from back problems because of the lack of opportunities to stand/sit down - to jointly develop a new standing seat which also satisfies the actual requirements of everyday use.
